Their listing. Your call list.
When another agency lists in your patch, First Knock checks your CRM for everyone you already know within 100 metres, and emails the call list to the agent who owns that area. Usually within 10 minutes.
One agency per suburb. No database upload. No obligation.
The race you don't know you're in
Tuesday morning. A listing goes live on a street you've farmed for six years. It isn't yours. It's the agency down the road.
By lunch, their agent has ordered Just Listed cards for the whole street. By Thursday they're door-knocking. By Saturday the open home is full of neighbours who are "just having a look", which in real estate means wondering what theirs is worth.
Meanwhile, sitting in your CRM, there's the couple three doors up you appraised eighteen months ago. The vendor you sold to two streets over, who keeps mentioning downsizing. The buyer who missed out last spring and still wants that street.
You find out about the listing on Thursday night, scrolling the portals. By then the listing agent has already had the conversation with your people, in your patch.
Every listing is a free market appraisal for the whole street. The only question is which agent gets to deliver it.
You already have the database. You don't have the forty minutes.
You're not short of contacts. You're short of timing.
Cross-checking a new listing against your CRM means opening the map, opening LockedOn, searching street by street and hoping the addresses are clean. Nobody does that on a Tuesday between an appraisal, a settlement and three buyer callbacks. So it doesn't happen. Not because you're lazy, but because it's slow.
And every week it doesn't happen, a competitor turns your relationships into their appraisals.
Letterbox drops go to everyone. This goes to the right ten people, at the right moment.
Mail-outs. Just Sold cards. SMS blasts. The quarterly email newsletter. You already spend real money and real hours staying top of mind.
But blanket prospecting is a numbers game. It lands in the same week as the pizza menus, whether or not anything has happened in that street.
A competitor listing changes the maths. For a few days, everyone within a stone's throw is thinking about property: their price, their timing, their next move. A personal call from an agent they already know beats a glossy card from one they don't.
| Question | A letterbox drop | A First Knock alert |
|---|---|---|
| Who hears from you | Everyone in the area | The ten or so people you already know, next door to the listing |
| When | Whenever the drop is booked | Usually within 10 minutes of a competitor listing |
| From | An agent they may not know | An agent they already know |
| What happens next | Recycling, with the pizza menus | A phone call with genuinely useful local news |
Ten minutes, not the next day.
Most agents find out about a competitor's listing the next day, if they find out at all. Here's what happens instead.
Their listing goes live. A competitor lists a home in a suburb or territory you work.
First Knock checks your CRM. It finds every contact you already have within 100 metres, and applies your exclusions.
The right agent gets the list. The agent who owns that area receives an email with names, mobiles and emails.
You're on the phone. The listing agent is still ordering Just Listed cards.

The easiest prospecting call you'll make all week.
Hi Sarah, it's Jess from the office. Quick one: number 18 just hit the market, three doors from you. I thought you'd want to hear it from me before the open home on Saturday. Have you had a fresh appraisal since we caught up last year?
No script-reading. No cold call. Just a local agent with genuinely useful news, calling someone they already know.
Built for a Brisbane office. Not a concept. Not a pitch deck.
First Knock was built for a busy real estate office in Brisbane whose agents were tired of learning about competitor listings too late. It runs on their existing LockedOn database and emails the agent responsible for each area.
Now we're opening it up to other offices, one agency per suburb. Every setup is done by hand around your patch, your CRM and your team.
The alerts we can't show you.
Real alerts are full of a real agency's clients, so they don't go on a website. This is the shape of a week in one patch, with the details blacked out. On the walkthrough, we'll show you what it looks like for real.

Illustrative. Addresses, names and numbers are redacted.
For agents who already do the work.
The selling agent. You farm a patch and you pick up the phone. This gives you a reason to call every time the market moves.
The principal. Your agency's database is its biggest asset. Make it produce appraisals instead of sitting still.
The farming team. Clear ownership. The right agent gets the right list, so leads don't fall between desks.
It isn't for you if you don't keep a CRM, or you'd rather wait for the phone to ring.
One suburb. One agency. First in, best dressed.
We only run First Knock for one agency in each suburb. Every competitor listing in that suburb becomes your call list, and nobody else's.
Once a suburb is taken, it's taken. That includes the agency that just listed 18 Banksia Avenue.
It isn't a setting in your CRM, and it isn't something an office can build in-house. So the agency that gets in first keeps the advantage, for as long as they hold the suburb.
Check if your suburb is availableLock in your suburb before the agency down the road does.
Tell us the suburb you want. We'll check it's still available, then show you a real alert flow in a 10-minute walkthrough and tell you straight whether it fits your office.
- Find out if your suburb is still open
- See the 10-minute alert, end to end
- Get a straight answer on fit and setup
Check your suburb
We'll confirm availability by phone or email within one business day.
Request received.
We'll check your suburb and be in touch within one business day. In the meantime, keep an eye on the boards going up in your patch. Each one is a call list you're missing.
Fair questions
What if another agency in my suburb signs up first?
Then the suburb is theirs. Every listing you put up becomes their call list, and you'll be the agency down the road in our example. That's the honest reason to check your suburb today rather than next quarter.
Is this another system my agents have to learn?
No. There's nothing to log in to and nothing to train anyone on. The call list lands in the inbox your agents already check between appraisals, with the mobile numbers ready to tap.
How fast is it, really?
We check your patch for new listings every 10 minutes, and the call list goes out as soon as one turns up. Most agents find out about a competitor's listing when they drive past the board, or when the Just Listed card turns up in their own letterbox.
Which CRMs does it work with?
LockedOn today. On something else? Put it on the form and we'll tell you straight where it stands, rather than promising something we haven't built.
Does it tell me who's going to sell?
No, and be wary of anything that claims to. It tells you who you already know, living next to a home that has just gone on the market. That's a better reason to call than any prediction.
Is this the same as buying seller leads?
No. Lead services sell you homeowner enquiries, and those enquiries are often passed to two or three agents at once. First Knock works from people you already know: past vendors, appraisals, buyers and contacts in your own CRM. You're not buying strangers. You're getting a reason to call your own people.
How is it different from other prospecting software?
Plenty of tools give you a daily call list or a score for who might sell. First Knock does one job: the moment a competitor lists in your patch, it sends the agent for that area the people in your CRM who live within 100 metres. One event, one list, one agent, while the news is still fresh.
Does it replace my letterbox drops and Just Listed cards?
No, keep doing what works. First Knock adds the piece a card can't: a personal call, from an agent the neighbour already knows, on the day the board goes up.
Can my agents call these people?
They're your agency's existing contacts, and First Knock removes anyone you've marked do-not-contact or excluded before the list is sent. Your agents decide who to call and what to say, using the contact permissions your office already works with.
Does checking my suburb lock it in?
Not yet. We check availability, show you the walkthrough with example data, and give you a fixed setup quote. Your suburb is locked in when you sign, so the sooner you check, the better your odds.
What does it cost?
It's priced per office, with a fixed setup quote after the walkthrough. Put it next to the commission on a single extra listing and it's an easy decision.
